What is the Jamstack?

Jamstack, previously stylized as JAMStack, is a web development architecture pattern and solution stack. The initialism “JAM” stands for JavaScript, API and Markup and was coined by Mathias Biilmann in 2015. The idea of combining using JavaScript, APIs, and markup together has existed since the beginnings of HTML5.

What is a Progressive Web Apps?

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are web applications that are designed to provide a native app-like experience on the web. They are built using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but they are designed to work offline and be able to be installed on a user’s device. PWAs are designed to be fast, reliable, and engaging, with features such as push notifications and a home screen icon. PWAs are also designed to be cross-platform, meaning they can work on any device and browser that supports the necessary web technologies. PWAs can be discovered through search engines, and can be shared via a URL, making them easily discoverable and accessible. PWAs can also be installed on the home screen of a user’s device, allowing them to launch the PWA as if it were a native app, bypassing the need for an app store.
